References for the soul

~3/19 HIATUS!!

I will add as many things to the queue as I can. ~

Well uhm..hello there ;u;. This is my art blog~!...Or my first one anyway.. I made a second one since this kind of turned into an unorganized reference blog for myself. I may reblog my art to here or maybe not, I don't know LOL. I'm a tad too intimidated to do that right now, PF.

BUT you're more than welcome to follow just for references or things you find helpful, alright~?
Ignore my ugly art if you ever see it here v u v

I made this mostly for myself but if anyone else finds it useful, that’s great! :’D
As you know here in Alberta there are western stores on every corner and everybody wears a cowboy hat.
Okay, that’s not entirely true. True story: when I went to the Calgary comic expo, I counted roughly twenty-five cowboy hats the first day before I gave up counting. In Edmonton when I went to West Ed last, I counted about three. Yep.
It’s kind of my dad’s dream to have a cowboy hat and boots, so we have frequented many a Lammles store when we were supposed to be shopping for other things. Every day, my dad makes my little sister try on hats and boots before my mom points out the $300 price tag on the hat and the fact that he’s not a real cowboy. I’m sure my dad mentally leaves the store with a manly tear in his eye thinking “SOMEDAY…”
THANKFULLY I managed to get a cheap straw cowboy hat at Superstore for Canada Day for like a dollar and HOLY CRAP IT’S HAILING OUTSIDE AHSEILSHL
sorry lost my composure
anyway if you do not have access to a cowboy hat and need a certain angle let me know. :P
