References for the soul

~3/19 HIATUS!!

I will add as many things to the queue as I can. ~

Well uhm..hello there ;u;. This is my art blog~!...Or my first one anyway.. I made a second one since this kind of turned into an unorganized reference blog for myself. I may reblog my art to here or maybe not, I don't know LOL. I'm a tad too intimidated to do that right now, PF.

BUT you're more than welcome to follow just for references or things you find helpful, alright~?
Ignore my ugly art if you ever see it here v u v

No need to rub your eyes, clean your screen, or cry photoshop. This awesomely warped building is completely real. Known as Krzywy Domek, translated from Polish as “Crooked House”, is a shopping center in Sopot, Poland that curves and slants like something from a cartoon. Were it part of a cartoon there would no doubt be some suitably merry music playing as the building happily swayed.

“Designed by Szotyńscy & Zaleski, the multipurpose building boasts a unique look that was inspired by the fairy tale illustrations of Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg.”

If we had to pick any new building for our offices, this one would be a serious contender.

Making a fake VHS screenshot

NO ONE ASKED FOR THIS but I wanted to share in case anyone wanted to make VHS-style images of their own. >D;

This is my very stripped down process gleaned from a far more complicated tutorial. I used it to make this picture. Hope you enjoy!

The image is a fanart of Motorcity’s Duke of Detroit which is (c) Titmouse :^)
